About

I originally picked up a camera around the age of 15 and I began just like any other kid, with a disposable camera shooting friends and car shows, which were the things that mattered to me. My first love was cars and what I found extremely exciting was California’s import car scene in the late 1990’s. As a result, I jumped at the chance to document cars I had seen at car shows, specifically Japanese imports. Being able to capture a car’s beauty and amazing experiences all at once sparked intrigue and began the start of what would eventually become a great passion of mine. I didn’t fall in love with photography right away, but as I got older, I developed a greater appreciation for the craft over time.

Since leaving California and moving to New York City, it is the greatest city on earth that seems to inspire me the most. From the eccentric people with a zest for life, to skyscrapers, high fashion, bustling streets, performers in train stations, and everyone who came to the same city with different dreams and different ways of achieving those dreams. As time goes on, my point of view becomes more refined and my focus shifting more toward models and fashion editorial work. One of the highlights of my career thus far was my first year in NYC I shot for Billionaire Boys Club and it was one my proudest moments. At that moment I knew what I had was a gift and that experience gave me the confidence to go full force. And although I no longer shoot cars professionally, but when I do at my own leisure, it gives me a nostalgic feeling, as if I’m getting back to my roots and it reminds me every time where I first began, but even more – where I’m going.

The creative collective I am lucky enough to be a part of gives me the motivation to do my work every single day. From being exposed to different experiences that are not initially conducive to my own upbringing to being surrounded by my creative friends, it is an unlimited overflow of ideas and creativity that gives me push to continue. At this very moment, I’m just putting my head down and grinding and working on my craft.
